How to Get to HKUST

  • The most popular way to our campus is to take MTR (Mass Transit Railway) to Hang Hau station, then take the green minibus No. 11M from the Hang Hau station to HKUST North Bus Station. The minibus costs HK$6.
  • Please note that if you opt to take bus/minibus, you can only pay the fare by Octopus card or by cash (no change of coins in general).
  • There are other possible public transports to HKUST and the MTR route map.

  • Taxi fare is normally paid by cash in Hong Kong Dollar. Foreign currencies are generally not accepted. Please make sure you have enough cash to pay the taxi fare.
  • Estimated Fare & Time: Hong Kong International Airport to HKUST ~HK$400 (40 mins). Hang Hau to HKUST ~HK$60 (10 mins).
  • You can show the address of the venue in traditional Chinese to the taxi driver.
